2015 Chrysler 200 vs. 2014 Hyundai Sonata

Now that the 2015 Chrysler 200 has debuted, it's time for Hyundai to re-evaluate the craftsmanship of the 2014 Sonata. After all, it can't compete with the 200's best-in-class available horsepower – 295hp compared to the Sonata's lowly 192hp – or the greater torque of the 200, which delivers 262 lb-ft. versus Sonata's 181 lb-ft. And with an industry-first nine-speed automatic transmission, the Chrysler 200 leaves the Hyundai Sonata, once the darling of the mid-size sedan segment, standing on the sidelines like a wallflower waiting for a dance partner. Yes, there's a new king in town, and it's called the 2015 Chrysler 200.

In addition to standard features such as LED tail lights, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Driver Inflatable Knee-Bolster Airbags, the 2015 Chrysler 200 also comes available with Active Cruise Control with Full Stop and Hold, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and Low Speed Forward Collision Warning with Full Stop. The standard safety features of the Hyundai Sonata are Daytime Running Lights and Brake Assist.

Best-in-class accolades don't stop there: The Chrysler 200 includes Keyless Enter 'N Go, the only vehicle in its class to offer this passive entry as standard. And integrating smart devices and using the navigation and infotainment system is easier on the 8.4" high-resolution touchscreen, unlike the Sonata, which includes an 8-inch regular resolution screen. Eyestrain, anyone?

Find out today just how good the 2015 Chrysler 200 can be. Stop by for a test drive and experience the new king in town.
